The first sentence beneath the subheading “Preparation of endothelial cell beads (EC beads)” on page 3 should read as “To prepare endothelial cell beads (EC beads), 4 μl atelocollagen solution containing 1 × 10⁵ peripheral blood cells and 500 ng/ml vascular endothelial growth factor was dropped into mineral oil at 37 °C.”
