The Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry is devoted to the publication of research papers covering all aspects of mass spectrometry, including fields of scientific inquiry in which mass spectrometry can play a role. Its aim is to publish papers on both fundamentals and applications of mass spectrometry to further the progress of the field. JASMS is peer-reviewed, and thus we depend on our expert reviewers to assess the potential significance of submitted manuscripts and to ensure the accuracy of the work.

For 2014–2015, our most outstanding reviewers were Lars Konermann (University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada), Rachel Ogorzalek Loo (University of California-Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA, USA), and Andre Venter (Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, MI, USA). Although manuscript reviewers rarely receive recognition commensurate to their effort, we give our heartfelt thanks to Lars, Rachel, and Andre for their considerable service to JASMS.
