Abstract
To investigate the interaction and failure mechanism between aerated lightweight concrete (ALC) walls and concrete-filled steel tubular (CFST) frames under seismic action, one specimen of circular CFST frame and four specimens of circular CFST frames with ALC walls under cyclic loading were carried out. The test parameters included the panel thickness, the wall connector type and the panel type. Test process and failure modes of the typed structures were investigated in detail. Hysteretic curves, ductility and energy dissipation etc were also analyzed. The test result showed that using reasonable measurement of U-typed connector, hooked bolt, rocking connector and angle steel, circular CFST frames and ALC walls under seismic loadings can be in cooperative work and have good seismic performance.
