Die CAD/CAM-Technik (Computer Aided Design / Computer Aided Manufacturing) ist aus der modernen Zahnmedizin kaum noch wegzudenken. Die Fortschritte bei der digitalen Abdrucknahme, bei der Datenverarbeitung sowie im Anfertigungsprozess und bei den Werkstoffen ermöglichen ein breites Einsatzgebiet, von der Einzelkrone bis zur anspruchsvollen Implantatprothetik, sowie bei Anwendungen in der orthognathen oder funktionellen Behandlung. Die vorgestellten Studien zeigen aktuelle Ergebnisse aus dem Bereich der CAD/CAM-Technik.
