Abstract
Supported nano-silica propyl methyl imidazolium chloride ([SNsipmim]Cl) catalysts were created by combining silyl propyl methyl-imidazolium chloride ionic liquid (sipmimIL) with produced silica nano-particles (Si NPS) in this study. FTIR and NMR study validated the chemical structure of the produced Ionic liquid, “Thermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), and Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD)” analysis proved the synthesis of the ([SNsipmim]Cl) catalyst. The three-component direct production of β-amino ketones via the “Mannich reaction” of ketones, aromatic aldehydes, and aromatic amines was achieved with this heterogeneous ([SNsipmim]Cl) catalyst. “FTIR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR” were used in the direction of validate the synthesis and structure of β-amino ketones derivatives. The catalyst ([SNsipmim]Cl) was successfully reused up to five times.
