Abstract
In the modern world, economic development is based on the growth of labor productivity, which is characterized by the ratio of results and labor costs. It is also the most important indicator of the effectiveness of any socially useful activity. The rate of development of industrial production, increase in wages and the amount of reduction in the cost of production depend on the level of labor productivity. Increasing labor productivity is a priority area of economic development for many countries. This case is relevant not only for Russia, but also for the entire world community, since labor productivity, more than any other factor, determines the level and quality of life and is the best indicator of the economic efficiency in a long-term perspective.
