Een eigen preoccupatie kleurt mijn gesprek met Arnoud Arntz enigszins: kun je psychologische hulpverlening restloos opdelen in variabelen – Arntz spreekt veel over ‘technieken’ – waartussen je causale relaties legt, of gaat in die operatie iets van belang verloren? Maar een mogelijk voordeel is dat Arntz zo zijn standpunten eens op andere wijze kan verhelderen.
