Abstract
A critical appraisal of the work of Kitis and Pagonis on peak shape method has been made. It has been pointed out that they have not taken note of the different existing works on peak shape method and their prescription does not lead to an overall improvement of the method. Finally peak shape method has been applied to experimental thermoluminescence peaks of albite.
