Nach 47 Jahren in Davos ist der Freie Verband Deutscher Zahnärzte (FVDZ) mit seinem traditionellen Winterkongress nach Österreich umgezogen: Der Tiroler Wintersportort Ischgl erlebte erstmals eine Woche lang die wohl höchste Dichte an Zahnärzten in seiner Geschichte. Neben zahlreichen Informationsveranstaltungen und Workshops erregte vor allem die standespolitische Debatte mit einer Diskussion rund um die Auswirkungen der Gebührenordnung für Ärzte (GOÄ) hohe Aufmerksamkeit.
