Résumé

Au cours de la grossesse, l’obésité augmente le risque de complications maternelles (hypertension artérielle gravidique, diabète gestationnel) et fœtales (malformations, macrosomie). Les conditions de l’accouchement sont également plus difficiles avec plus de césariennes et d’échecs de l’analgésie péridurale. Une organisation spécifique au sein des réseaux périnataux doit permettre une prise en charge optimale de ces patientes, en particulier en cas d’obésité morbide.

Abstract

Obesity during pregnancy increases the risk of complications for both the mother (gestational hypertension, gestational diabetes mellitus) and the newborn (malformations and macrosomia). Deliveries are also more difficult with more C-section and failure in peridural analgesia. A specific organization supported by the perinatal network should improve the management of these women, especially for morbid obesity.
