Abstract

Sinocorophium homoceratum belonging to the family Corophiidae is reported here in the first specimens found in Gomso Bay, Korea. S. homoceratum can be easily distinguished from its relatives by the forms of the uropods, antenna 1, and antenna 2. The present specimens agree well with the original description of this species, with the exception of some minor characteristics in the uropod 3. The present study gives a detailed description with illustrative figures, and extends the distribution range of this species from China to Korea.
