Abstract

Atmospheric turbulence is the greatest obstacle to terrestrial astronomical observations. It prevents us to obtain precise images of equality precision of the space telescopes. In this paper we first examined the methods of measuring angle of arrival fluctuations, so we do a statistical analysis on the angle of arrival fluctuations, the covariance measure and the variance. This measurement makes it possible to obtain an estimate of the coherence parameters of the wave front (parameters of the atmospheric turbulence) with the adjustment method.
