  1. At present the beneficiaries are classified into three categories i.e. BPL, APL and Antyodaya. In 1997, households below the poverty line are classified as BPL households, households above the poverty line are APL households. Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) was launched in 2000 for the poorest among the BPL families
