Résumé

Le liposarcome est une tumeur mésenchymateuse maligne exceptionnellement retrouvée au niveau du côlon. Nous rapportons un cas de liposarcome bien différencié (LBD) du côlon gauche révélé par une invagination intestinale, et nous discutons les difficultés diagnostiques pour ce type histologique. En effet, les études cytogénétiques et moléculaires sont actuellement d’un grand apport pour le diagnostic différentiel des tumeurs adipeuses.

Abstract

Liposarcoma is an unusually malignant mesenchymal tumour found in the colon. We are reporting a case of a well-differentiated liposarcoma of the left colon revealed by intussusception, and we are discussing the diagnostic difficulties of this histological type. Indeed, cytogenetic and molecular studies are currently a major contribution to the differential diagnosis of adipose tumours.
