Abstract
Cancer-related pains, which may be frequent, can occur at each stage of the disease. Their nature and aetiologies are various and need rigorous evaluation. Their multiple and specific characteristics vary according to the affected organ and the mechanism producing these pains. The therapeutic armamentarium is sizeable and, in complex situations, requires multidisciplinary discussion and care.
