Notes

  1. 1.

According to Luo and Zhang (2010), the Greater China Region (GCR) refers to the geographical area of Chinese culture with regard to the economic development, not to political entities. This includes the economies of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, and extends to countries such as Malaysia and Singapore whose national economies are also impacted by and related to Chinese owned and/or managed businesses as well as large numbers of Chinese consumers.
