Abstract

To obtain more accurate hydrogeological parameters of an aquifer, multi-methods are applied in this paper. Taking the Longkeng water source in Songyuan City as an example, a pumping test, as well as the groundwater dynamical, spring discharge inverse, and groundwater hydrochemical kinetics method are first applied to determine the hydrogeological parameters of the aquifer in this area. Groundwater numerical simulating models are then built using Groundwater Modeling System software to identify and certify the parameters. According to the all-time water-level fitting curve of long-term observation wells, the relative error of simulated water level is less than 6 %. According to these methods, the parameters for the whole region are obtained, and these parameters are more accurate than those obtained by using pumping tests alone.
