Implementatie van de LBZ: focus op de interne meerwaarde

De invoering van DOT (DBC’s (diagnosebehandelingcombinaties) op weg naar transparantie) is nog maar net achter de rug en er ligt alweer een nieuwe uitdaging op de stapel: de invoering van de Landelijke Basisregistratie Ziekenhuiszorg (LBZ). In 2013 moet de diagnoseregistratie al plaatsvinden volgens de ICD-10-norm (International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems). Vanaf 2014 komt daar het gebruik van de CBV-verrichtingenregistratie bij. Om succesvol deel te nemen aan de LBZ, zult u nu al moeten beginnen met de projectinrichting. Maar waar en hoe begint u? Met andere woorden, waar focust u op bij de implementatie van de LBZ in uw ziekenhuis?
