De prestaties van Nederland op het gebied van de gezondheidszorg zijn onder de maat. Dit staat in een rapport van het Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau (SCP). In het rapport worden verschillende publieke sectoren van 28 OESO-landen (Organisatie voor Economische Samenwerking en Ontwikkeling) vergeleken. De Nederlandse gezondheidszorg scoort in het rapport een 4,5.
