De Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa) adviseert de diagnostiek in de eerstelijnszorg te versterken door een eenduidiger bekostigingssysteem. Door het invoeren van functiegerichte bekostiging op basis van eenduidige prestaties zal de zorgverzekeraar beter kunnen sturen op kwaliteit en kostenbeheersing in de eerstelijns diagnostiek.
