Zorgverzekeraar Achmea levert een financiële bijdrage aan onderzoek naar de uitkomsten van chirurgische kankerbehandelingen in Nederland. Toch is financiering van zulk onderzoek volgens Achmea geen zaak van individuele verzekeraars. Achmea pleit dan ook voor structurele financiering.
