Het CDA wil snijden in het aantal instanties dat toezicht houdt op het bedrijfsleven. Volgens de partij is een afslankoperatie mogelijk, waardoor de kosten met wel 25 procent kunnen dalen. Toezichthouders zouden samengevoegd kunnen. Zo zou de Nederlandse Zorgautoriteit (NZa) met drie andere toezichthouders kunnen worden samengevoegd tot één organisatie.
