Net als in 2008 groeide de omzet van zorginstellingen in 2009 sterk, ondanks de recessie waarin Nederland verkeerde. Ook de winst is fors gestegen. Toch leed ongeveer een op de zeven zorginstellingen vorig jaar verlies.
