Samenvatting

Een aandoening van de nieren kan zich uiten in specifieke afwijkingen in de urine: (dysmorfe) erytrocyten en/of celcilinders, eiwit in de urine (micro- en macroalbuminurie/proteïnurie) en een afname van de glomerulaire filtratiesnelheid (GFR: glomerular filtration rate). Deze drie uitingen kunnen afzonderlijk of in combinatie met elkaar voorkomen.
