  1. Oxycodon is, evenals morfine en fentanyl, een opioïdagonist met sterk pijnstillende eigenschappen. Het wordt in Nederland met name toegepast bij de behandeling van pijn bij kankerpatiënten. Oxycontin is een toepassing van oxycodon met gereguleerde afgifte.
