SIGNAAL, nieuwe gezondheidsrisico’s uit de praktijk

Samenvatting

Het optreden van een beroepsziekte legt vaak een probleem in de werkomstandigheden bloot. Dat maakt het mogelijk te leren van gevallen1 en preventieve maatregelen te nemen om problemen voor werknemers werkend in gelijke omstandigheden te voorkomen. Dat geldt ook, en vooral, voor nieuwe gezondheidsrisico’s, aandoeningen waarvan een oorzaak op het werk wordt vermoed, maar waarover niet of nauwelijks iets bekend is. Om meer zicht te krijgen op het hoe, waar en waarom van het optreden van nieuwe gezondheidsrisico’s door werk is het van groot belang om gevallen te verzamelen.
