Samenvatting

Op donderdag 8 oktober organiseerden zestien aiossen Verzekeringsgeneeskunde het symposium ‘Truth or Lie’ in het Amsterdam Art Center, waarbij fraude en ‘malingering’ centraal stonden. Malingering, ook wel simulatie genoemd, is het opzettelijk voorwenden van ziekte of gebrek met als doel extern gewin, bijvoorbeeld het verkrijgen van een uitkering.
