Ramazzini en de Ziekten der Vrouwen

Samenvatting

Sinds het eind van de twintigste eeuw heeft men in de geneeskunde meer aandacht voor de verschillen tussen patiënten, in het bijzonder tussen mannen en vrouwen. Het principe van gelijke behandeling van mensen in de breedste zin van het woord, gelijke rechten, geen onderscheid maken, lijkt niet meer altijd het meest juiste. Gelijke behandeling, als emancipatoir doel, wijzigt nu soms in ongelijke (medische) behandeling met als doel een gelijke kans op gezondheid.
