Het creëren van aangehechte gingiva direct na extractie

Samenvatting

Eén van de kenmerken van de wondgenezing na extractie is dat de processus alveolaris door botresorptie in horizontale en verticale zin van vorm verandert. Wanneer op een later moment een botopbouwmethode wordt uitgevoerd, wordt het weefsel ontlast en naar coronaal verplaatst. Het gevolg hiervan is dat de mucogingivale lijn dan verschuift in coronale richting en soms zelfs op de processus komt te liggen. Door een nieuwe botopbouwmethode direct na extractie kan behoud van de vorm van de processus en van de positie van de mucogingivale lijn worden bereikt.
