Vergelijking van intraorale radiografie en limited CBCT bij de beoordeling van blijvende elementenmet een wortelfractuur

Abstract

De radiologische evaluatie van wortelfracturen wordt gewoonlijk uitgevoerdmet behulp van periapicale en occlusale foto’s. De introductie van de cone beamcomputed tomografie (CBCT) heeft nieuwe diagnostischemogelijkheden gecreëerd. De doelen van het onderhavige onderzoek waren de traditionele tweedimensionale röntgenfoto’s te vergelijkenmet limited CBCT-afbeeldingenmet betrekking tot (1) fractuurlocatie en (2) de hoek van de wortelfracturen zoals gemeten op sagittale CBCT-opnamen.
