Abstract

Vanouds wordt linguaal openen met succes toegepast, maar de resultaten van dit onderzoek duiden erop dat dit geen rechtlijnige toegang tot de apex bij onderincisieven mogelijk maakt. Het buccaal openen zou bij deze elementen de voorkeursbenadering van het wortelkanaalsysteem moeten zijn en het afwijken hiervan zou een uitzondering moeten zijn.
