Samenvatting

Osteotomie is een chirurgische correctie van de kaakstand. Ik mocht meelopen met het osteotomiespreekuur in het ziekenhuis Tjongerschans in Heerenveen. Vier patiënten kwamen langs voor een consult met kaakchirurg Aarnoud Hoekema en orthodontist Christo Boxum. Tijdens het spreekuur werd gesproken over de aankomende kaakoperaties en het plaatsen van een beugel.
