De Outcome rating scale (ORS) en de Session rating scale (SRS)

Enkele psychometrische kenmerken van de Nederlandse versies

• De Session rating scale (SRS) en de Outcome rating scale (ORS) zijn twee monitorinstrumenten die een steeds grotere populariteit genieten onder Nederlandse en Vlaamse behandelaars. In dit artikel worden enkele psychometrische resultaten gepresenteerd, die verkregen zijn in een steekproef van ruim 200 ambulante patiënten. Scores op de ORS waren laag, maar statistisch significant, gecorreleerd met scores op de SRS. Eveneens laag maar statistisch significant waren de correlaties tussen zelfbeoordelingen (ORS en SRS) en de beoordelingen van de behandelcontacten door de therapeut, gemeten met de Therapist satisfaction scale (TSS). Zowel de ORS als de SRS bleek in hoge mate intern consistent. Tussen opeenvolgende afnamen van hetzelfde instrument werden behoorlijk hoge correlaties gevonden. Dit betekent in het ongunstigste geval dat de ORS en SRS onderhevig zouden kunnen zijn aan antwoordstijlen (bijvoorbeeld: sociale wenselijkheid).
