Samenvatting
Er zijn vaker publicaties geweest over perifere entrapment neuropathieën, maar nog nooit over entrapment van de n. peroneus superficialis (SPN). Dat maakt het onderzoek ‘Entrapment of the Superficial Peroneal Nerve’ van Maria Tzika, George Paraskevas en Konstantinos Natsis (JAPMA 105(2): 150-159, 2015) op voorhand interessant. Fasciale entrapment van de n. peroneus superficialis werd het eerst beschreven door Henry in 1945 als mononeuralgie.1
