Patiënt- en familieparticipatie is naast empathie één van de hoekstenen van persoonsgerichte zorg.1,2) Vrijwel ieder ziekenhuis heeft in de visie, missie of beleidsstukken staan dat de zorg ‘persoonsgericht’ is. Hoe dit echt vorm te geven is vaak de vraag.
