Samenvatting

Speerpunten als ‘De patiënt als partner’, ‘Familie vriendelijk werken’, ’Thuis in het ziekenhuis’ en ‘De patiënt centraal’ vloeien voort uit de begrippen als ‘Patient and Family Centered Care’, ‘Person Centered Care’ en ‘Participatory Healthcare’. Centrale elementen in deze drie begrippen zijn dat patiënten en hun familie of naasten als waardevolle en actieve partners worden gezien in zowel besluitvorming over behandeling en zorg, de zorgverlening zelf, als kwaliteitverbeteringstrajecten en patiëntveiligheid.
