‘Management is nauwelijks evidence-based’

Samenvatting

Managers werken nauwelijks evidence-based. Er wordt veel wetenschappelijk onderzoek gedaan naar managementvraagstukken, maar managers zoeken daar zelden naar en maken geen gebruik van de beschikbare wetenschappelijke kennis. “Er is veel bekend over bijvoorbeeld de effecten van leiderschapstrainingen, zelfsturende teams of ‘het nieuwe werken’. Maar veel organisaties gaan daar kritiekloos mee aan de slag”, zegt Eric Barends van het Center for Evidence-Based Management (CEBMa).
