Samenvatting
Patiëntveiligheid en programma’s als ‘Tien thema’s om veiligheid te bevorderen’ zijn niet uniek voor ons land. Ook in onder meer de Verenigde Staten is veel aandacht voor patiëntveiligheid en worden ook wel thematisch benaderd. Welke maatregelen om patiëntveiligheid te bevorderen zijn effectief en welke maatregelen niet? Het onderzoek dat hier besproken wordt, ging uit naar de effectiviteit van een programma voor valpreventie.
