Summary

Hereby we present a case of an 11 year old girl, with jaundice, abdominal pain and abdominal mass in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen. These complaints are the classic triad for choledochal cysts. Choledochal cysts are rare in the western population and often do not present with the classic triad. Treatment of choledochal cysts is necessary to prevent complications including malignant degeneration.
