Samenvatting

Veel Nederlandse kinderen en jongeren ondergaan een intelligentietest. Het probleem bij de interpretatie is dat deze tests niet altijd hetzelfde meten. Afhankelijk van de gekozen test kan het IQ sterk variëren. De auteurs pleiten ervoor om de IQ-score niet als één punt, maar als een betrouwbaarheidsinterval weer te geven. De classificatie moet deze score beschrijven, niet de persoon.
