Multisysteemtherapie bij autismespectrumstoornissen

Samenvatting

Over de effectiviteit van multisysteemtherapie (MST) bij jongeren met een autismespectrumstoornis (ASS) in combinatie met ernstige gedragsproblematiek is weinig bekend. Dit artikel beschrijft aan de hand van casuïstiek een aantal aandachtspunten voor de behandeling van deze jongeren. De klinische ervaring laat zien dat MST een veelbelovende behandeling is, mits in de interventies specifiek rekening wordt gehouden met de ASS-problematiek.
