Gedragstherapeutische oudertraining bij kinderen met autismespectrumstoornis en gedragsproblemen

Samenvatting

Veel kinderen met een autismespectrumstoornis (ASS) hebben gedragsproblemen, zoals driftbuien of agressief gedrag. Gedragstherapeutische oudertraining lijkt een veelbelovende behandeling voor deze problemen (Bearss e.a., 2013; Aman e.a., 2009), maar onderzoek hiernaar is nog relatief schaars. Hoe effectief is individuele gedragstherapeutische oudertraining voor het verminderen van gedragsproblemen bij ASS? Maakt het hierbij uit of de ouders deze training op de polikliniek volgen of thuis, via de computer? In het SPARTA-onderzoek onderzoeken we de effectiviteit van Behavioral Parent Training Groningen bij 4- tot 12-jarige kinderen met ASS.
