Kaal worden hoort bij het verouderingsproces. Toch kunnen mensen lijden onder haarverlies, zeker jonge mannen en vrouwen. Welke behandelopties zijn er voor alopecia androgenetica (AAG), de meest voorkomende vorm van haarverlies? Hoe terughoudend moeten we zijn met medicamenteuze behandeling? Met welke differentiële diagnose moeten we rekening houden?
