Samenvatting

‘De wereld zou er echt beter van worden als we ons allemaal wat kwetsbaarder zouden opstellen’ is de stelling van hoogleraar maatschappelijke participatie en gezondheid Cécile Boot. In haar oratie nam het begrip kwetsbaarheid een belangrijke plaats in. Het is zaak voor werkgevers om er beleid op te ontwikkelen, vindt ze, want een gezonde werkomgeving kan het verschil maken tussen uitvallen of met plezier en energie doorwerken tot het pensioen. Rekening houden met kwetsbaarheid speelt in het creëren van die gezonde werkomgeving een grote rol.
