Nieuw onderzoek naar persoonlijke continuïteit en voorschrijfgedrag bij ouderen

Samenvatting

Uit eerder onderzoek blijkt dat continuïteit van zorg een positief effect heeft op bijvoorbeeld de therapietrouw en het aantal ziekenhuisopnames. In dit nieuwe onderzoek wordt gekeken naar het voorschrijfgedrag bij ouderen in de huisartsenpraktijk. Huisartsen schrijven namelijk op grote schaal (herhaal)medicatie voor en onjuist voorschrijven kan ernstige gevolgen hebben.
