Innovaties noodzakelijk voor toekomstbestendige huisartsenposten

Samenvatting

Rond 2000 ontstonden in Nederland huisartsenposten (HAP’s). Huisartsen hebben op de laatste Woudschotenconferentie 2019 opnieuw bevestigd dat 24 uursspoedzorg tot hun kerntaken behoort. Om dit te kunnen waarmaken en de huidige 118 HAP’s toekomstbestendig te houden zijn er dan wel aanzienlijke vernieuwingen nodig en is onderzoek naar de meerwaarde hiervan aangewezen. Bijvoorbeeld op het gebied van triage en zelfzorg, diagnostiek en de inzet van expertise, werkdrukregulatie, en samenwerking met de ambulancehulpverlening en spoedeisende hulp.
