Samenvatting

In de herziene NHG-Standaard Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) staat niet langer het advies om een eventueel aanwezige spiraal altijd direct te verwijderen. Ook wordt aangeraden een CRP in plaats van een BSE te doen. De herziening werd gedaan in samenwerking met de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Gynaecologie en Obstetrie en de Nederlandse Vereniging voor Medische Microbiologie.
