Substitutie van laagrisicohuidkankerzorg naar de huisarts

Samenvatting

Door stijgende zorgkosten staat substitutie van zorg hoog op de politieke agenda. In dit onderzoek verkenden wij middels interviews welke opvattingen zorgverleners hebben over de verplaatsing van laagrisicohuidkankerzorg van het ziekenhuis naar de eerste lijn. Hoewel de betrokken zorgverleners over het algemeen gematigd positief waren over substitutie van huidkankerzorg, blijken substantiële barrières een succesvolle implementatie op dit moment in de weg te staan. Maatregelen die substitutie kunnen bevorderen zijn dermato-oncologiescholing voor huisartsen en het verbeteren van de samenwerking tussen de lijnen. Huisartsen verwachten daarnaast inspanningen van dermatologen om hun vertrouwen en dat van patiënten in huisartsen te verhogen, en compensatie in tijd en geld.
