Samenvatting

Vroege herkenning van kanker in de huisartsenpraktijk kan bijdragen aan een betere overleving. Een verhoogd aantal bloedplaatjes (trombocyten) zou hierbij kunnen helpen. Nieuw onderzoek suggereert dat de huisarts bij trombocytose alert moet zijn op kanker.
