Samenvatting

De huisarts behandelt regelmatig patiënten met een koliekaanval door een urinesteen. De recent vernieuwde NHG-Standaard Urinesteenlijden beveelt het gebruik van alfablokker tamsulosine niet meer aan. Maar een nieuwe systematische review concludeert dat alfablokkers wel zorgen voor een snellere steenpassage en minder pijn.
